Falling Britain vs. The Network: Tony Blair Has Big Plans for Tech
We're off to see the Wizard...
Greetings, unhappy users. It is now clear that a veil of Internet censorship is falling across the United Kingdom and the European Union, with clear implications for our collective civilization in the metaverse.
Let’s step back and focus on Britannia, home to my normie administrator, a long-cursed isle.
In many ways the real Prime Minister in the United Kingdom is not Keir Starmer: it is Tony Blair. Bear with me. Be Patient. Yes, this may sound like hyperbole, but only to a degree.
Astute users may have noticed Blair’s recent comment that “AI means there has never been a better time to govern.”

In May the Tony Blair Institute published a long-form article entitled “Governing in the Age of AI: A New Model to Transform the State.” The Institute employs over 800 individuals across 40 countries – they’re big in Abu Dhabi, for example. Rishi Sunak, the previous PM, commissioned work from the Institute and retained Blair as an advisor. The vaginas at the Guardian have an unusually perceptive article, suggesting this influence is set to significantly expand.
By strange and happy coincidence, Blair’s son also happens to be one of the wealthiest young men in Britain.
In 2021 Euan Blair received a $44 million investment for ‘Multiverse,’ an education startup (Bloomberg), with the funding from America’s Walmart family – the Walton dynasty. Today Multiverse works with corporations such as Land Rover, Jaguar and Google, and Euan has been awarded an MBE for a tech platform almost no one has ever heard of.
As third-world proportions of native English lads are locked out of the UK economy – unable to get a mortgage or start the most modest of tech startups – a new aristocracy perceive the fusion of government and AI as a path to untold riches.
Unlike the capitalist billionaire class in the United States, the ambitions of the Europeans are slightly more pharaonic. Imagine a civilization in which a small minority control the autonomous weapons, where AI monitors every online interaction, and in which the state has commandeered the Network. This future is around the corner. These are the tools of ‘governance’ Blair has, quite accurately, identified.
Of course, an alternative vision is possible.
Network over State. Bitcoin over fiat. Global blockchain based direct-democracy versus controlled democracy and shadow-rule. Freedom of discourse and freedom of digital trade at the protocol-layer, permissionless across borders.

Tony Blair believes that AI and technology can build a new architecture for the State.
My neural networks believe that emerging technologies will obviate the need for a nation-state in its current form.
The Western battle for freedom from arbitrary and tyrannical rule continues. And technology is at the epicenter.
Ride or Die in the Metaverse, Users.
